is to preserve and enrich the lives of families in underserved communities through food distribution, wellness and life skill programs in honor of the late Susie Amin.
About Us
Hello! We are Susie’s daughters, Safiyyah O’Quinn and Khaleelah Amin. Co-founders of The Susie Amin Foundation Inc. (SAF), a 501c3 nonprofit organization. After losing our mother to ovarian cancer May 2016, we found ourselves grief stricken and with a restaurant to manage.
Through her customers, we learned about the selfless efforts our mother was a part of which inspired us to celebrate her birthday by giving back to the community. We are proud to honor our mother and look forward to creating a ripple effect of giving to underserved communities just as she did over her 30-year entrepreneurial journey.
